iX User Forum
The iX User Forum is a place, where imos user can discuss imos iX related topics, as well as sharing experience to other users. The Forum can be used for asking for help with imos iX related issues, tips and tricks and in general, sharing information.
The iX User Forum is divided into different sections:
- The Header
- The Discussions Section
- The Category Section
The Header
Inside the Header you gain access to the Board rules, the FAQ section, a search bar for available discussions, a notification icon and your profile.
- The Board Rules are Terms and Conditions, which are applying to every iX User Forum member. Please read the Board rules care-fully before you use the iX User Forum. Users are only allowed to use the iX User Forum if they are accepting the terms of use.
- Inside the FAQ section you will find a Documentation about the iX User Forum with topics of frequently asked questions.
- With help of the search bar, you can search for specific topics inside the iX User Forum. All discussions, that include the searched words will be shown.
- The notification button will show you all notification of Updates from your created discussions, updates of comments you made, comments on following discussions etc.
- You can alter the settings of the iX User Forum and information about your profile or logging out of the iX User Forum.
All discussions available
Inside the middle, you will find all discussions available on the iX User Forum. You can sort them with the “sort button” inside the upper left corner. On the upper right corner, there are buttons for refreshing all discussions, as well as marking all Discussions as “read”.
Category Section
Inside the Category Section, you can access different areas of the iX User Forum. You can choose between “All Discussions”, “Rank-ings”, “Private Discussions”, “Following” and the “Tags”
- “Rankings” shows you a top-ranking list of iX User Forum members. If you create interesting and helpful discussions, writing com-ments on discussions they can be liked and marked as “best answer” inside a discussion. This will earn you “Points” The User with the highest number of Points will be ranked 1st Place with descending order.
- “Private Discussion” will show you all your private discussions with different iX User Forum members.
- “Following” will show all the discussions you have been following. If you follow a discussion you will be notified on updates regarding the discussion.
- “Tags” Will show you all available Tags, which will be used for Filtering different discussion of different imos iX CAD Topics (CAD/CAM/NET/PLAN/Organizer/Integration Server/iFurn/News/Feedback/Archive) and their versions.

Here are frequently asked questions about the iX User Forum:
How can I start a discussion?
For starting a new discussion, please click inside the “Start a Discussion” button on the top left corner of the main page. A new window will open on the bottom side of your window. Please insert a Title and the content of the discussion below.
You can alter Text Type, Bold Text, Italic Text, Inline code, quotations, links, images, lists, mentions and emojis at the bottom. If you have finished creating the discussion, click on the “Post Discussion” button, to make your discussion public.
How can I write a comment?
You can write comments inside discussions. Click on a discussion of your choice and select the “Reply” button at the top right corner of your window. A new window will open on the bottom side of your window. Please insert the content of your comment here.
How can I be notified about different discussions?
If you want to be notified about update inside different discussion, click on the “Follow” button inside the top right corner of a discussion. You will then be notified inside the iX User Forum if an update on a discussion you followed happened.
To alter the setting on how you want to be notified, please go inside the “Settings” section of your profile.
How can I attach a picture to a discussion or a comment?
If you want to attach a picture to a discussion or comment, please select the “my media” button of the content section from the discus-sion or commend you are about create. Here you can upload images to the iX User Forum, which you can select afterwards to attach it to your commend or discussion.
You can attach an image link with the button “add an image” as well. Copy your image URL from an internet site of you choice, select a title and insert it to your commend or discussion.
